Hence the qualifier “as long as he’s this level of dual threat.” We are plenty of years away from that no longer being the case though. I’d expect him to be the #2 QB in football for most of the remainder of this decade.

If/when the Chiefs inevitably lose an AFC playoff game, the Bills are the odds on favorite to either be the one doing it or benefiting from it and that’s almost entirely because of Allen.

I have to say McDaniel is as responsible for Tua's injury as anyone. That was one of the worst offensively called games I have watched in years. Just absolute trash run run pass over and over again.

I actually agree with your overall point, but the Bills had four punts in that game. Three of those drives gained fewer than 10 yards and the fourth only went for 24 yards.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs only had two punts (Harry missed a field goal).

Allen played great in that game, particularly at the end, but I really do believe he was outplayed by Mahomes just a smidge.

Completely agree. Kept calling run plays until they were in 3rd down and then expecting Tua to throw in what were obvious passing situations. Tua played horribly and didn't rise to the occasion, but McDaniel did nothing play-call wise to keep the Bills D off balance. Coming into this game the Bills secondary was a major question mark and you have Hill/Waddle...but decided to play Martyball instead. Madness.
