They were driving down the field on them every drive. Only reason they ended drives were self inflicted errors.
Detroit got a taste of what the Chiefs dealt with on opening night when the Lions won by 1 point with KC dropping the ball a million times, including a bobble ball Pick 6.

Hopefully the Chiefs will be as focused in the Super Bowl as we have seen in the 3 Playoff games. Need to keep that underdog mentality going.

Yeah I get you have to take the FG's but Josh Reynolds really ****ed them over in that game. 2 critical drops on 3rd and 4th down that ultimately decided the game.

First step: don’t let Toney and Moore put on a jersey

If the media doesn't give him something, Mahomes will just make up a reason to feel underrated or underappreciated.

The media will give him something. Niners legitimately have a lot of talent, so you know there will be plenty of media people drooling all over them as we get closer to the kickoff. Hopefully the Niner players are stupid enough to provide some bulletin board material in their interviews as well.

Reynolds should probably provide a decent lesson about pressure.

In week 1 I think you can probably throw him that 2nd drop and count on him to catch it. But man, pressure had gotten to him. That first drop and the game was getting out of hand....that dude did NOT want the football there.

It would be a fun exercise (for someone who has a ton of free time) to watch all the explosive plays & TDs SF's Defense gave up this season to guess the magic play that Reid/Mahomes will rip their hearts out with.

Last year it was discovered that the Eagles used Rock'nRoll handoffs on cross-field motion, but got burned once on it when the motion man cut back after they handed off coverage. We then destroyed them with Corndog twice (or whatever the 2nd play's name was to Skyy).

There's going to be another magical play or two in this game.

The hell he is.

Fred Warner is a Hall of Fame caliber player - needs another 3-4 years at this level but that shouldn't be a problem for him. If he does that, he'll have a gold jacket someday. He's one of the best 3-down MLBs in the last quarter century.

Greenlaw is...fine. Good player but a damn sight closer to Drue Tranquill than he is Fred Warner.

Everyone's talking about Fred Warner because he's amazing. People forget about Dre Greenlaw because he's...forgettable.

The easiest way to explain this to people is Fred Warner is if you put Willie Gays athletic ability and mixed it with Nick Boltons instincts and feel.

Warner is the best traits of both of them.
