Yeah, everything seemed to be "just keep them in front of you" and 'don't let him throw it over your head".

That's how you'd play Mahomes. Not Brady.

The Pats played how you need to play Brady.

Maybe.

But Maybe we'd have scored 61.

**** man, just getting to the damn SB is an accomplishment. Taking out the Pats and getting to the SB.

Its frustrating because we did it. But our OLB doesn't know how to line up.

Spagnuolo is all of 3 years younger now than Sutton was when we hired him.

Sutton may be a doddering old coot but dont let Spagnuolos bitchin' mustache fool you - hes no young man in his own right.

They couldn't stop an older than ****ing hell QB that didn't throw it deep at all, at home. The Rams were going to go balls deep in our asses without even spitting for lube.

No way grandpa is canned if they went to Atlanta.

If we get to the Superbowl....all you'd hear about is how we needed more experience and more talent. Sutton would have stayed.

Maybe.

On that fast track, the Chiefs offense would have been flying.

I'd think it would have been a coin flip game.

He would have got a ****ing extension if anything. No way we're talking about replacements if he didn't embarrass the entire team and city with the owner absolutely dying to finally hold his daddy's trophy.

I want to know why all these Defensive Coaches were so eager to sign up for other gigs? What's the rush? Its like musical chairs or something. I mean if you're Todd Bowles would you rather be DC in Tampa Bay or Kansas City? I think the answer is pretty simple.

I know they need to find employment, but damn.

For the reasons noted above.

If Dee Ford could just locate the !#@$ing center for a second the Chiefs job simply never would have opened up.

Ask Bowles right now if he wishes he'd have waited and he'd tell you yes. But he couldn't risk it. And Wilks is probably in the same boat - he saw the ass-whupin we put on the Colts and had to be concerned that one more game even approaching that means that he's not getting a DC job anywhere and has to go back on the pile of position coaches who may simply vanish into the ether if things go south for reasons beyond their control.

I don't blame these guys at all. If you get offered a near 7 figure deal as a coordinator somewhere, you take it.

It'd be nice if Reid would let someone else make this hire if this is the best he can come up with.

There was no teaching from Sutton. Nobody knew what they were supposed to do. His gameplanning sucked, his adjustments sucked, his leadership sucked.

I mean FFS look at this. This is an embarrassment. Horribly implemented, horrible defensive call. Horrible everything.

JFC. Brady had better options that the wide open guy he hit.

Mr. DJ's left nut has done an excellent job of executing the ice water challenge on this "rumored" hire. We all are now acutely aware that Spagnuloliolo may well be Satan's first cousin.

However, I'm not so sure this is even a "thing". At this point, it's reported by people who have been wrong before. And there's also the fact that Spagnuloliolo has had a career comprised of bizarre circumstances. To me, that means it's almost impossible to judge how effective he might be in a stable organization with great leadership.

Right now, we don't know if Spagnulolioliolo is going to be DC or not. We do, however, know full well that we need better players on defense (and quite a few of them).
