50 Beers to Try Before You Die

Thought the beer snobs here might like this article (and probably critique the hell out of it).

http://www.wisdeo.com/articles/view_post/2984
(CBS) You've heard of "100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall"?

How about 50 to try before you die?!
Spoiler!

I haven't had a Dogfish beer in over 10 years. Always too hoppy for me but maybe my tastebuds have grown.

These cans all say IPA, so given my dislike for hoppiness and regular IPAs, I'd have never chosen them.

They are definitely not IPA tasting and really ****ing good. Look at that haze! Now I am even more confused on what I should be looking for.

That's a gripe of mine as well

That particular brewery only brews hazy IPAs (they might do 1 or 2 traditional IPAs every now and again) so consumers in their market kind of already know but yeah once they get distributed out of market there's no way for people to know

Just say what it is and put a readable date in a visible location on the can

Welcome to NEIPAs. They are awesome IMO. For my buck the Hazy Double IPAs are the best. The best IMO around KC is Toppling Goliath's King Sue.

The 120 can be hard to find. I haven't had one in about 4-5 years.

Lagunitas IPA
Church Music Hazy IPA
Tower Road IPA
Ballast Point Sculpin IPA

Picked up a six pack of both Fat Tire Ale amd Firestone 805 this morning while grocery shopping.

I like the lighter stuff during a summer afternoon.
