It's not about a bidding war.

Payton is going to have a say in where he goes, and there's absolutely nothing appealing about your situation.

There’s nothing appealing about the Broncos. The QB they traded for us a train wreck, they don’t have draft picks, the two best pass rushers on the team (Chubb, Jones) are leaving after this year and your offensive talent stinks.

Oh did I mention you have to play Mahomes every year?

Denver will have no choice but to hire a first time head coach again or a retread that wasn’t great before.

I did see he threw almost 50 times. Was that typical when Russ was starting?

Exactly, Payton walking into the mess in dunver would be career suicide. He'd be stuck with WalRuss for 4 years with no picks or money to fix all their woes all while having to face Mahomes, Herbert and to a lesser extent Carr twice a year each.

The next donkey coach is going to be another experiment that will fail just like this one has

It's been said that Payton has no interest in the Panthers.

The Panthers are a better situation than the Broncos. That team has legitimate young talent on both sides of the ball, and could end up with the #1 overall pick.

Rob Walton will be able to pay Sean Payton and his staff significantly more than Dean Spanos will.

Except for a HOF QB, an elite defense and defensive coordinator, an excellent GM, tons of weapons on offense and an owner who will spare no expense.

No. He got above 40 once, and never got up to Rypien's mark of 46 from this game.
