Wins get you donors which get you facilities. Those help grease the rails for recruits, but you do need someone with some charm. Don't know if Mizzou has anyone like that on the staff right now, but Pinkel didn't win a ton of recruiting battles either, even when he had a lot of natural advantages. |

MIZZOU just flat out sucks these days. Poor talent out side of the QB who has a legit chance to play on Sundays. Outside of that, the whole program blows.
They (we) might want to consider a move back to a conference where this level of talent can compete. |

Sorry your local boy didn't live up to the hype, but he's an inconsistent beanpole that isn't on NFL team draft boards.

Welp, I've said many times his worst gamble (lost) was going to MIZZOU instead of one of, any of, the other offers he had. Tennessee or ND would have worked out better. On that we can agree. MIZZOU fell apart as a college and an athletic program in recent years, so he lost that gamble.

Some guys just don't live up to the expectations. Happens at good schools all the time.
He's just not improving at all and at some point you have to stop blaming the school, the coaches, antifa, cs1950, Hardees for running out of chicken strips, the sun, traffic, etc. He just has to get better and it's square on his shoulders, because I don't think the Offensive Staff is that bad. So to answer your question, he probably doesn't see the field at all at a Tennessee or Notre Dame. Is Barry Odom a shitty coach? Absolutely, yes. But at a certain point there has to be personal responsibility. |

And if you think any of that is debatable you're crazy. Since Pinkel left, the football program can't attract shit. And yes, there are deeper problems, starting with the AD. I don't see ranked recruits coming to MIZZOU unless it's their last resort. |
