Happy for Jalen that he was drafted. Getting towards the end....it
seemed like it might not happen.

With just under 3 minutes left, KU made such and incredible comeback just to tie it. I have never seen a game like that. That team was so much fun to watch. Great guards with Jackson, Graham, Svi, and Mason. Devonte just caught fire at the end of that game. Mason was a stud (BAFM) who wasn't going to lose by missing FTs.

This would be a nice get. One more big time outside shooter with experience. Could fill a JCL type role. Don’t need him to be a starter, just needs to give good minutes off the bench with the occasional big game.

According to Mike Vernon and Ant, Adams didn’t look very good at practice. Too much of a jump in competition. Apparently, he was home sick too.

Also, hearing that Elmarko and Arterio have been killing it, which all but removed Adams from the rotation entirely.

Guard rotation: Harris, Timberlake, McCullar, Elmarko, Arterio

That’s a pretty solid 5. Just hoping Harris can hit the open 3’s and either Elmarko or Arterio can shoot in the high 30s %.

He was always my favorite of our recruits. He reminds me of a bigger Dotson. Like a Tyshawn-Dotson hybrid. He’s gonna be a badass.

McDowell is the one I never understood. But hell, credit to him for sticking around.

I wasn’t high on McDowell at first but I’ve come around after watching some tape. I think he has the chance to be essentially Marcus Garrett with a better outside shot.

The Adams news is a bummer. I had high hopes for him, although I’m not too surprised. All I’d heard was that he’s not ready for significant playing time. Considering he had OAD aspirations, I figured he wouldn’t be the type to be patient. Didn’t think he’d bail a month after arriving though.

From the time this kid committed until he chose to de-commit on Sunday, to me, it looked like he gained a lot of weight.

Anyway, what a waste of time for everyone involved.

But, at least that opens up a schollie for a kid who wants to play, compete and grow.

Tyshawn is a guy I loved watch play. While Dotson may be the more talented guy, he never seemed to have the will Tyshawn did.
