I thought I read something 1 dose was like 52% percent efficient from symptoms.
That's why you still need to be careful. |

We’re in a mad race against the variants now. Brazil is getting hammered as is Europe
Thankfully we have the things we need to stave it off here if we keep up the pace |

My wife and I each got our second Pfizer dose Wednesday afternoon. Overnight Wednesday we both got a terribly sore arm, fever (wife up to 102.3), body aches, and fatigue. I also had stomach pains. My wife maintained a fever all day Thursday while I never had one after waking up Thursday. I was doing better and better all day Thursday and then in the late afternoon I was suddenly very weak. Neither of us have slept much the last two nights but woke up this morning (Friday) feeling really good other than being really tired. It sucked a little bit but I didn't have to miss any work or anything. No biggie.

I spent a week in New Delhi and my co-worker got violently ill. A doctor visited him twice (in his hotel room!) and gave him a couple of prescriptions. He then called the next day asking if he was okay - which he was, the medicine did the trick. Total bill was $38. |
