Yeah the drop off from a pretty good corner is so much more massive than a HOF QB. His physical abilities dropped off a cliff but he was the smartest QB in the game. If you think a rookie or some guy off the street is going to be able to run their system at the same level your delusional. Your offense is starting over from square one and a complete mystery at this point.

Elway will not have a hard time replacing the 9 TD's and 17 INT's Manning threw last year. |

Denver's D played lights out and scored a lot of points. They also played injured teams in the playoffs and down the stretch to the playoffs. Denver could of actually missed the playoffs entirely if a few plays go the other way.

That defense won't win shit with Sanchez butt fumbling all over the field. KC can score on Denver's defense. Over 25 PPG against the doncs last year...ouch

Football's a weird sport, especially with divisional games. Denver beats the Patriots at home last year and 2 weeks later, loses at home vs the Raiders. Things happen and KC has a good team, as do the Raiders.
To Meatball's point, lots of focus on Sanchez right now... and, if he's anything more than bench/depth fodder, yes they're screwed. I don't see it playing out like that though. We'll see. |

Interesting that KC drafted a Raider fan in the first and Denver drafted a Chiefs fan in the first.
Hopefully, Oakland moves cities before MP becomes a FA in 4 years. |
