Let's talk about the 49ers (Super Bowl Edition)

Well Chiefs vs Packers is what I had hoped for, but that's not happening.

Let's talk about Chiefs vs 49ers here.

Tbh most folks I've seen are picking the Chiefs. Shannon Sharp, Kellerman, Stephen A, Florio, Lefko, Cynthia Freelund (has no doubts), Russell Wilson etc etc...i take Russ's comments very serious because he has a better perspective than everyone having faced the Niner twice. Also the sports books are saying Chiefs too...so I wouldn't be too alarmed by pundits picking the Niners tbh..all the talking will soon be done and sunday will reveal the truth.

Shannon picked the Niners... who cares about Florio. Pretty sure either Stephen A picked the Niners or flip flopped about 5 times already.

I think lucky that Bill O’Brien went full reerun on multiple calls, and the special teams fumble was pretty lucky too.

Well, you could argue the same 'luck' that led the Chiefs to come back from 24-0 was on the Texans side when they went up 24-0.

It's not like most of those things that happened were regular occurrences from the season.

'Luck' goes both ways . . . . .

Yea and it didn’t take luck for them to get up 24-0

And I completely disagree about BOB going “full reerun”. Should he have went for it on 4th down? Probably, but taking the points when you’re already up 21-0 isn’t “reeruned” and the only reason people call the fake punt dumb is because it didn’t work. If it works, he’s a genius, just like every other aggressive call. Kind of like if he went for it on 4th down and lost by less than 3 points people would use hindsight as say THAT was dumb. It’s all results based. Even Reid made it a point to defend the fake punt.

Here is an idea, go root for the 49ers!

Got it. We got lucky with our STs turnover but they didn’t.

Blown coverage for a first-drive TD; multiple dropped passes by our offense; blocked punt; muffed punt

That is luck.

Texans definitely got lucky to be up 24-0. I didn’t say otherwise.

So the whole luck thing is canceled out and your take that the Chiefs are just “lucky to be here” doesn’t make sense.
