Once again, blacked out in the Los Angeles area. I'm more convinced than ever that these blackouts are a Fox Sports rights issue.

Hopefully, Zorn can actually improve Cassel with coaching, rather have his limitations masked by the OC. |

Other than Cassel having a RB in 2010, and a pass catching TE who helped our RT immensely, reports are that Haley was the one coaching Cassel, not Weis. Weis only called the plays in a timely manner which gave Cassel time to read the defense.

Look at all the upgrades over that team, though.
Boss/Maneri >>>>>> Pope/Oconnel Winston/Asamoah >>>>> Richardson/Lilja Baldwin/Breaston >>>>> Chambers/McCluster Hillis/Gray >>>>>> Jones/Battle If Cassel can't complete 62% of his passes with those upgrades, he doesn't deserve to keep his job. |

This team is better, but they play a harder schedule.
We'll see. |

Point well taken (and not my fight), but we sure as hell didn't need the preseason to know MC sucks ass! He's a backup AT BEST.... He's not able to inspire, and he's riding the coat tails of a previous team and one season... yeah, he's better than some, but not worth the coin he's being paid. After week one, barring the knee, I'd prefer the hope of Luck than the concern of Matt... But that's just me. I just live here and have to live with the Hunt's choices - no matter what. yeah, my taxes go to their endeavors, like it or not...

And supposedly, according to what we heard during the game, Haley did not allow Cassel to check out of plays. I think Haley wanted things "his" way as opposed to what Cassel did best. And when he saw Cassel wasn't Werner he went with the check downs and short route crap. I whole-heartedly accept the notion Haley wouldn't allow Cassel to check out of plays. I don't think even Cassel is so inexperienced to consistently not check out of running plays against 8-9 in the box.

Looked at that pass to Baldwin again.
Cassel was maybe a tad late with the throw, but Baldwin flat out dropped it. Right in his big ****ing training camp star mitts. ![]() |

3rd and 1, Toribio gets awesome push. DJ stuff, unblocked.
Arizona announcers pointed out if the RB had followed his block he has the 1st, tho. |

Asamoah does a great job springing Hillis on the 28-yarder.
Eachus gets a good block and Hillis runs the ILB THE **** OVER |
