Uded to be a dog in stores named just Red Hots I liked those had a nice heat and spice to them. Now you cant find them here it seems except the Bar S that I aways get chunks of fat and mystery meat in every bite and same for there polish sausage dogs. I cant find a good polish dog anymore.

I'll look for those. Only sushi I've had that was worth a shit was sushimi (so) in Hawaii. It was legit. All the other crap I've had is crap. Wife loves it but I get something else if there is another option, because I live in Kansas for ****s sake. I know what it takes to ship raw fish from water to the center of the United States. |

They're very dense and meaty, as much a sausage as a hotdog, and they dont overdo the smoke flavoring, letting the meat speak for itself I'll buy them again |

Lots of cooking this weekend. Making a giant batch of Texas chili in the slow cooker tomorrow. Will freeze some, have the others for meals this week.
Wife is making an apple pie. Yet to be determined if that stays here or goes to her work. Pork meatballs in the oven right now, will simmer in a tomato sauce shortly. So that means spaghetti and meatballs tonight, meatball sandwiches tomorrow. And I have fixin's for fettuccine alfredo, supposedly from the original recipe. |

My grandpa owned a catering business and the hot dogs he got from Sysco are hands down the best. I haven't had one in years, but I still remember to this day how good they were.

Fairbury hot dogs are pretty hard to beat. Google them. I have had Nathan's and Hebrew, and I prefer Fairbury any day of the week.
