Andrew Luck Retires

Filed to ESPN: Andrew Luck has informed the Colts he is retiring from the NFL, per source. There will be a press conference Sunday to make it official, but Luck is mentally worn down, and now checking out.

That's how I see it. I think he knew this was going to be another year of struggle and pain where he likely wouldn't be able to play anyway. Timing sucks but I don't think he is able bodied and just decided to **** off 2 weeks before the season starts.

I don’t even feel bad for Houston. He could have accepted a new contract and chose not to do so. Oops. 😂

Guys a selfish prick.
Apparently he did tell them in the offseason before the draft

Because of a calf strain? That's what he himself called it in his press conference. Just doesn't add up to me. He talked about being "tired" and referenced past injuries as much or more than the one he has now.

Front office probably used Luck as a selling point to FAs even though they knew he was gone.

He said calf strain, high ankle, posterior impingement. Sounds like his whole lower leg and ankle are ****ed.
