*****The Patrick Mahomes Thread*****

IT ****ING HAPPENED

OP UPDATE:

Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

Alex is gonna have an MVP year, he has something to prove. He's gonna make it REAL hard for Mahomy to get in the lineup without injury. I think smith signs a team friendly 3 year extension.

Wow Terrell Owens almost became a Chief 3 years ago. Reid wanted him here but Dorsey said what scared him was his age not the PR nightmare. Reid wanted him here but Dorsey didn't.

But it's largely a joyless exercise, which is why it happens so infrequently these days.

Back in 2010 I actually felt really, really good about the Chiefs and I was pumping out content every week. Lesson learned. Won't get fooled again.

And if comeback wins over those below average teams made you feel good, you were a fool, and you were proven a fool by what happened later on that season.
So you didn't feel good after we beat the Chargers in week 1? Yeah right...

I feel good after every win over a division rival. I know you aren't satisfied because we've won so many SBs here recently but you shouldn't forget that we've come a long way since we were 2-14 (the year before Alex Smith got here) and you should be proud about it.

Chargers owned us for a long time.
