If Lebron and AD sat out the series it may go 7.

Good win tonight for LeBron although it was helped considerably by the Dragic and especially Bam injuries (if Bam is out for any period of time, that Heat defense is a major issue).
It remains such a privilege to watch the GOAT continue to post these triple double lines (25-13-9 tonight) in the Finals at his age. Can’t take this kind of greatness for granted. |

It’s really hard to fathom that he is still this quick, powerful and athletic at this age. He’s not what he was in his physical prime 10 years ago obviously, but he honestly doesn’t even look like he has declined at all physically since he turned 30. I always figured he’d remain a great player at this age because of his unparalleled basketball IQ but he’s still a greater physical threat than anybody in the league outside of Giannis. Remarkable.

Right now I think AD is the best 2 way player in the NBA. I'd take him over Giannis and Leonard if I had a choice of the 3. Obviously Luka is the best offensive player but lags a bit on the defensive end

Jordan was washed up at like his 14th and 15th seasons in the NBA, and thats with 4 seasons off mixed in between.
Lebron is in his 17th year. but Lebron didnt have 4 years of college either.... |

Sounds like Dragic is going to be out for the series and Bam is hurt. This maybe the worst Finals in NBA history.

Jordan was an MVP candidate at 38 before he got injured. Him and Kobe were the only 2 guys in the league averaging 25/5/5 at the break and this was back when defense was allowed to be played.

I'm old enough to remember the days (from about June of last year to about a month ago) when you were calling Kawhi the best player in the NBA. I wonder what happened.

I think AD has passed him up. 30/11 playoff career average and dominating in the playoffs this year and looks like the finals MVP. Do you disagree?

There's no comparison between those two in longevity and that's becoming increasingly clear as the years go by. MJ's only argument is on the peak side, but any difference there is negligible at best considering how dominant a two-way player LeBron was at his own respective peak.
