He just suggested he had a justification for doing it. That's pretty ****ed up. And regardless of what he does on the field, I will be rooting for him to fail. I will not cheer when he receives and I will continue to lose respect for this organization every time they allow him to don their uniform. Your football team is little more than laundry; you should at least be able to respect the men wearing it. |

Now in a different situation they should be morally sound in decision making. Not that either of those opinions are wrong, just that these social opinions and stuff of this nature has always been interesting to me. Somewhat like people excusing this but holding firm on that. Sociology is a crazy thing to me. |

I've always said that I suck at empathy - this is probably one of those times. If I can't relate to you, I probably can't gin up much concern for you; definitely something of a character flaw (well...it's not, but I'm told that I'm supposed to say that it is). I can't relate at all to the guy that hits women. But I'm not too terribly far removed from having an occasionally crazy pregnant woman in my house and not too terribly far away from having a constantly crazy teenage girl in my house. The idea of hitting either of them is absolutely batshit to me so it's easier for me to tell that guy to **** right off. Again...I just don't do empathy. |

I've never been in a position that hitting a women came to mind, I can't relate to that either. |

That's all that matters. We all want to win. To my knowledge, I haven't seen him on any police blotters prior to or after this situation. Let's see what happens. If he helps us win and stays out of trouble, what's the problem? |

You're so far up your own ass on this issue that I find your reaction and opinion hilarious. Your upset with the Chiefs draft because they selected players that you, in your completely uninformed, useless opinion, have deemed as not worthy of their selection status. You've let your anger at the draft cloud your reason. As for Hill, I simply don't believe that the story is exactly as this woman has stated. I understand that you do, and that is your right, but I've seen too many crazy women attempt to push men into a bad reaction because they know that they can get away with it. This doesn't excuse his actions, whatever they were, but IMO he deserves a chance to fulfill his dream. My opinion isn't based off of the team that drafted him. If he had been drafted by Oakland or Denver I would feel the same way. Anyway, have a great evening. You seem like a really nice guy and completely reasonable (not really, but I'm supposed to say that). |

Well said. Regardless of what led up to him hitting and choking his pregnant girlfriend, he still hit and choked his pregnant girlfriend. Therefore, he's a piece of shit. Therefore, I hate that the Chiefs drafted him. Therefore, I hope he blows out his knee in practice and then breaks his parole while in rehab, so I never have to watch a piece of human excrement play on a Sunday for the Chiefs. I also hope his cellie in prison is Ramsay Bolton. That'll sort him. |

There will be an Outside the Lines special on Hill in about 30 minutes. Should shed some light on everything.

ESPN hasn't had a shred of journalistic credibility in a decade and whatever dying embers of professionalism still existed were doused by Greg Hardy pissing all over them (if they weren't already extinguished by Schefter asking if the NFL was lenient enough w/r/t Ray Rice). ESPN can go take a beating from Tyreek Hill. |

The man is going to run one back, with 4 seconds on the clock and down by 6, to end the Superbowl (pending PAT).
And we will cheer our Gladiator and buy his Jersey. Children will be consummated that night and they will be named Tyreek. Or Ty if they are white. |
