Ross could not beat out Moore for a roster spot. Expecting much of anything from him might be a bit wishful thinking.

Maybe we did get lucky.

Appearing on NFL Live, Adam Schefter of ESPN provided the first bit of optimism regarding Rice's status.

"Here's what we know right now," Schefter said. "We do know that Rashee Rice is going to miss an extended period of time. We do not yet know that that ACL is torn. He's continuing to go through testing and there has not yet been confirmation that it is torn, as the Chiefs feared in the postgame locker room after they beat the Chargers. Again, it's going to be a bad knee injury, but they're hoping that it's not as bad as they feared. He's still going through the testing."

It is when you have Mahomes and Spags.

Yeah Andy hates teaching guys on the fly. Hates it. He brought back Juju simply because he knew the offense. Samw with Hunt. At some point you need to get new blood and the earlier the better as he has more time to acclimate to the offense.

But if they KNOW Rice will be back before end of season that would be so huge.

I can pretty much guarantee what happened here.

Dionte wanted to come to KC all along and Pittsburgh killed it.

Agent knows KC is on the market, tells Carolina Dionte's not coming back, hoping to spark a trade.

I'll still try not to get my hopes too high but if he's coming back along with Hollywood, just end the ****ing season and hand them the trophy

Would think the hyperextension mechanism would make it more likely to wrongly see an ACL tear with the on-field test

Ligaments would be badly sprained if nothing else and that's gonna lead to some instability in that moment.

Are their adequate burial plots available in Buffalo for impending mass suicide to follow?

Yes or no, and if it's no we're moving on.

We obviously liked him enough to have conversations with his agent, there isn't a realistic better option out there and he fits what we do.

Now, for reasons you mentioned they very well may pass on that, but as a team seriously lacking draft capital and Johnson being in the last year of his deal, they'd have to consider it.
Why start with a 3rd? Just because you have 2? He is UFA, rentals typically aren’t as costly.
