Gasoline at $4 Coming to a Pump Near You, Unfazed by Rising Tab

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?p...d=afOlUzd30YOo

Pretty alarmist, IMO, but possible.

Spoiler!

It's rather hard to separate the two, honestly. But yes.

We might, but if we do, it sure will be interesting if something like "a world issue or stability" ever becomes a reason for it to go back up again.

We all knew it was a myth, but after this scenario, while the whole situation in France happened, the OPEC nations might finally become the laughing stock of the globe should they claim world unrest or instability is driving-up the price of oil. So I think what the OPEC folks have done here is interesting, I'm not entirely sure they can just go back to being their usual Muslin **** selves once they've hurt the other producers in the world.

And while we can't do anything about it, I think the Japanese found out about our industrial might. If we were to ever use that sort of prowess to drill in ANWR and further perfect fracking, that might be the counter punch the industry has needed to put the rag-hats back in the sand where they belong.

So I'm fine with them being the primary provider, but only if they keep the price around where it is now.

Oh, and **** the OPEC nations and their shitty no-grass landscape! They suck hairy Camel balls dry!

For all you knuckleheads who were talking about buying an underground tank to fill up on cheap oil when the price was around $55 would now be down about $100,000!!!

I realize that there's some speculation that he really doesn't want high gas prices based on these comments, however. But he also realizes that when gas prices are low, going green isn't quite as attractive to the public.
I have no problem at all with going green but make those damn cars affordable. Including the battery.
