They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Spot on.

To be fair...

CEH - 1st round pick (bust)
Skyy - 2nd round pick (jury is out, but time's-a-tickin')
Rice - 2nd round pick (jury is out)

Some might argue that resources have spent, but it's the return that's the issue, which points to the scouting department.

As long as we pivot I’ll be fine. But is that possible? Or is a gun you constantly have to reload. Because as we try to do that, we will also start making hard decisions about groups like our interior OL and linebackers. They’re either going to soak up a lot of payroll and/or cost some picks. Dealing with guys like Snead reinforces the need to constantly feed the DB pipeline.

The amount of targets Moore generated last night shows you how much Mahomes trusts him to read zone properly.

Reid can draw up route combinations to make it work. I don't think he can rely on them reading the defense and choosing the correct route for themselves like he likes to on the other hand. They just end up where Mahomes doesn't expect them to be majority of the time. Unlike Kelce who basically doesn't even have a playbook at this point but is so in tune with Mahomes, they both know what route to run against any defense presented to them.

CEH was a while ago. And Tyreek Hill not paid and traded.

We need more but of course it would be nice to hit on your 2s.

My issue with Skyy pick is the upside seemed low. Even if he hit he would be a guy that isn't too hard to acquire in FA.

Yeah they weren't open on those drops.

Just pump the brakes there, dude.

Bro Mahomes gave the guys aren't open indications a bunch...that was on top of drops..

Shit it's why Toney kept getting targets no one else was getting open.

Probably wouldn't label Hardman a bust necessarily but he wasn't worth a second and is off the team..

Veach doesn't have a great track record with drafting offensive skill positions. He inherited Kelce and Tyreek.

My issue is that in pursuit of a defense (and I get the urgency) it often feels like we react to an offensive position group falling apart vs proactively fixing. Kelce is a great current example. will we wait for kelce to leave before we bring in a TE1? As opposed to saying a TE1 can make a great TE2 until kelce eases his transition off.

I don’t buy into the idea that having tyreek and kelce made the wr position any less important. Considering depth players still play roles. But we did treat wr depth like an afterthought for a good while.

I liked Kincaid and La Porta this draft. Seems like we weren't really looking at them.

Can someone who knows the x’s and o’s explain that Skyy Moore route to me? Looks like it’s a 25 yard hitch. Is that even a thing?

Put James in Skyy's spot.

Give Rice more routes.

Give Toney the Mecole role.

IF that doesn't work, trade for Marquise Brown or Chris Godwin.

Profit.
