Went to range Sunday and put 100 rounds through it. Way out of practice but was expected as the last handgun I fired was a 1911 Colt 45 revolver about 37 years ago.
Groupings we're getting decently tight near the end so was starting to come back to me. Another 1000 rounds and I hope to be back to feeling like it is second nature. |

Have a sig 320 compact and a P365xl romeo. I like the 365 a bit more.
I switch between the 365 and a HK P320 SK for my carry right now. The HK is larger but it fits my hands much better. I am consistently more accurate with the HK at the range. My wife shoots the 320 most of the time if we go together. I used to carry a glock 29 but my groupings were out of whack past 10 yards. I blame it on the gun not the operator........ |

Looking forward to the next KC area gun show... The tax return could make it a fun day.

It was a bit here, but cleared out and only had a light 5-7mph wind.
Bugs are going to be a big problem soon, so this is probably the best day we are going to have to shoot. My son held over .2-.3 mil and nailed it. He's still learning. It's not hard to hit targets when his dad is a maniac that has charts of data leading to proper dope. Those charts are worth a fortune in bullets released. |

His body is still slightly off-axis with the bore, but his arm posture and control is perfect.
He's finally learning to squeeze instead of pull, and he doesn't wince anymore when it fires. He is left handed BTW. I taught him to shoot right when he was little to avoid having to buy special guns! |
