im gonna need some help on this food joint. i recall as a kid going with my grandfather, i think it was down by the city markets. all i remember is i had one of the best sausage sandwiches ever. i 'think' the decor was green benches and barstools. i know this is vague, so i apologize in advance.

On the other side of that building was Cascones cafe and one of the best breakfasts in town. They served a lunch special The Big Sam Italian Sausage with fried egg between toasted bread that was a beast and very good. But always remember benches burgandy red. |

When we had offices downtown we would roll out the work trucks half hour early and get breaky at Cascones I love that place.
I might add this was also when it was the River Quey. We joked that they would have to bomb us out of this place to pass up breakfast hear. |

i am guessing pork of sorts?
quick comment. when i arrived in australia, i was taken aback as to how much beef is used as sausages. i was under the impression, in my little kansas bubble that sausages were always pork products. we never had beef sausages that i can remember. ive had bratwurst's. hot dogs. but not beef? |
