Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs
Well, it looks like the deal is done.
https://twitter.com/intent/user?scre...w_p=tweetembed Jay Glazer @JayGlazer 49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith Jay Glazer @JayGlazer Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith. |

ESPN's Adam Schefter estimated on NFL32 that Sean Smith will command in the range of $7 million to $7.5 million annually in free agency.
Per Schefter, Smith is widely viewed around the league as the top cornerback available. We prefer Aqib Talib, and perhaps teams would if he were cleaner off the field. Smith, who played college ball at Utah, is squeaky clean and only 25 years old. Look for the Chiefs, Eagles, Buccaneers, and perhaps Jaguars to contact Smith when the negotiating period opens Friday at midnight. Mar 7 - 5:36 PM Maybe it's you |

your headed for failure because your analysis are some of the worst on this board, geno smith is not a top 10 pick, every analyst knows this and have stated this. Even an everyday fan would know this, if he was in last years draft, he wouldn't even be a first rounder. On the other hand alex smith has won 13 games in 2011, is going forward as a QB, lead the league in completion percentage before benching, and the biggest thing is he does not make mistakes. thank god the front office of the chiefs is making the decisions and not fans like you!

But you can stick to having someone else analyze his play like PFF and form your opinions from them. |

When did he show this ability? Because the year before he was literally the worst CB in football.

Late Friday no-life poll question: Would you rather have Alex Smith for 2 2nd-round picks or Carson Palmer for nothing? |
