I'm gonna talk out of my ass but guess that one of our NIL boosters benefits from local matchups/this is now seen as a way to local support through the NIL.

We're up against Mizzou, UMKC and Wichita State. Bill always said we'd only schedule local matchups if it benefitted us, which makes me think something's changed in the calculus.

Yeah this kid has now said he's going to reclassify to 2023 and would go to KU if they offered. He's on a unofficial visit right now. He's a Jayhawk. Obviously he's not a high profile recruit - believe hes around 200 to 250 but we had some good luck with local kids that really wanted to be here in Ochai, Braun and DaJuan.

Colorad & Arizona moving to Big 12?

Quote:
Radio host Greg Swaim, who is very plugged into the Big 12 landscape, reported over the weekend multiple sources have told him Colorado and Arizona are as good as gone from the PAC-12, but there’s no word yet on Utah or Arizona State.

Swaim’s reporting lines up with previous reports that the Buffaloes and Deion Sanders are getting ready to shock the college football world. However, the addition of Arizona getting ready to cut ties is new.

He also correctly noted nothing is final until the ink dries on whatever kind of media deal the PAC-12 might be able to scrounge up.

I think Dick could be really good in the NBA. With better spacing and less attention from defenses, he should get plenty of open shots. And those are almost automatic.
