Yeah. There’s no shame in having 56 wins one year and not being able to hang with the best team in the AL the next. Royals are gonna end up much improved and may even nab a playoff spot. But they have a ceiling and it ain’t beating the Yankees in the AL champ series, that’s for sure

Why is a guy that hasn't pitched in 3 years and the 2 years before his injury had a 5+ ERA each season even on our ML roster? Dude should have been a farm guy.

Lynch almost has 2 seasons worth of starts and has a career ERA over 5. His career WHIP is 1.5. They should toss his ass in the bullpen and see what he can do in there. Bubic should have gotten the last couple of starts.

Oh and btw you all are a bunch of idiots. ****ing whining and crying that this isn't a playoff team just based on a bad stretch. This is by far the toughest stretch they have all year. They're still 3 games up for the wild card spot and only 5.5 games back for the division. They still play the division winner like 14 times.

Here is what I will say. The Royals player are flat out intimidated by the Yankees, Q is definitely scared of them. Tonights game was a throwaway game for him, he doesn't believe he or his team has what it takes to compete with the Yankees. He should just admit it post game.
