I'm not sure what the most base runners allowed in 5 innings is giving up less than 3 runs but I assume Singer just set the record tonight. Pretty gritty performance all things considered.

I don't understand the decision to put Singer back out there. Especially with the odd schedule this week(we don't play Thurs or Sunday). We don't need to be stingy with the bullpen.

Normally I'd agree but he's been dominated by the bottom of the order tonight. There was nothing to suggest this wouldn't end with multiple base runners on and a guy coming in anyway.

I would absolutely give Singer a chance to get through one more inning before I turned the game over to our bullpen. It almost worked too, except for a great AB and a bloop hit.
