Dude that guy is average as ****. I don't care about the stats, even when he played us he had four or five throws that were just heaved and landed. In the playoffs he made some unreal bonehead plays.

Walking away from a probable top 10 QB because he isn't Mahomes is how you get fired. |

Huh? He was lights out vs the Chiefs and his first playoff game he played about as perfect of a game as you can. He wasn't terrible in their 2nd playoff game either. He's definitely above average. He's not worth biggest contract in football, but he's way better than average.

It took the Chiefs roughly 50 years to find a QB and we have people here who literally think any QB that isn't Mahomes is a bum.
My how people quickly forget. |

Yup and good luck trading Love just to try to replace him with a QB like Shitdeur, Beck or Ewers in next years awful QB class.

The same people who will say get rid of Love also don't like Sanders whose likely the 1st QB taken..
Guess you should just play with no QB till the mythical one comes along. |

Love definitely played very well last year, certainly enough to be seen as better than average. But to earn it that kind of money after playing well for one season is amazing. But as one poster said, what else could they do.
And although Tua hasn’t performed in playoff games like love has, again what else could the dolphins do. It seems as long as a quarterback is better than average. He is just going to get paid insanely well. To rely on the draft, even if you have low pics, is a crapshoot. Look at the disastrous outcomes the year Fields was drafted. At the beginning of the year, I thought Detroit would regret how much they had paid Goeff. Now that clearly looks like a bargain. And I don’t know the earliest the 49ers can sign Purdy. I think it’s before the beginning of next season. But now they’re probably looking at between 55 and 60 million. And the comment about Stroud of five years for 500 million is probably going to turn out to be low. One poster remarked how this really set Chicago up. I think that is so true. Assuming William is for real they are in a tremendous position capwise during his rookie contract. You can’t say the same for the Vikings because Jefferson got really big money. |
