Clever show. IT's set in the 80's. Has an 80's style score (very synth). Even the intro is done in 80's style graphics.
Combine that with 8 episodes = 8 hours and it reminds me of those old miniseries' from the 80's. Very cool aesthetic. Plus, a few of the kids do a really good job, and kids generally suck at acting. |

This was freaking outstanding and made me miss 1983 in a huge way.

Up to episode 6. They nailed it. Reminds me of being blindsided by Mr robot last summer. A month and a half ago I had no idea this even existed.
Lots of influences, but totally original. Nice to see in this era of remakes and 'reimaginings' that we're currently in. |

Yeah, the number of classic horror posters that pop up in the backgrond caught my attention.

Read this when you're done. Season 2 won't be an anthology, it will continue the story. Love it.

I blasted through all 8 episodes in one day. I'm on vacation........
Pretty bad ass. A few confusing moments and clunky writing here and there. But the kid actors/actresses have been great so far. Love how they've nailed the 80's theme. Can't wait to see where they take this... |

On episode 6. Holy crap, now I see 'Altered states' influences. The old trippy William hurt LSD flick. Awesome stuff!
