The Bills take the AFC this seasom
Are you ready for some football!?

I know I am!

With that, I am here to make a proclamation!

The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.

For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.

A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.

The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Let’s go mighty Buffalo Bills! 🦬 🦬 🦬

Mahomes has absolutely made some critical scrambles in crucial games.

Titans AFC Championship right before half.

Eagles Super Bowl win to ice the game.

49ers Super Bowl in OT to extend the game winning drive.

The funny part is that there are plenty of you who know i’m right. Who know that if Allen was drafted to KC and Mahomes to Buffalo, that Allen and KC would still have the rings.

He'll go down with a number of Buffalo passing records to his name and a few division titles, then fade into nothingness and fondly remembered for his early years, culminating in 13 seconds.

Yep, it's not quantity that matters, it's quality. Mahomes saves his scrambles for when it matters most. Allen runs just because he can.

Apples to oranges. Unlike Mahomes, Allen has never played in a crucial game before. Dicklix is talking about all the scrambling Allen does in the preseason and regular season.

Maybe 1? Maybe? Allen is a turnover machine who often doesn’t use his head. Your guys offense had to literally run the ball last year to be effective and that’s what is happening again this year.

Mahomes has had to play his ass off against a damn good defense in 3 of his 4 Super Bowls. You really think that Allen wins those games? I don’t think he does

4) A team who missed 18 of the previous 19 playoffs

Allen was drafted into one of the absolute WORST situations.

If Allen & Mahomes switched draft places, Allen would have the rings and Mahomes would be seen as the 2nd best QB in the NFL. Just the way it is.

So yeah, Mahomes is no better than Allen. They’re equals, but Mahomes was lucky enough to be drafted into an elite situation.
I've been mildly surprised that Allen and Lamar have lasted as long as they have. At some point credit is due that Lamar, mostly, avoids big hits and Allen really can take them

But it is rolling the dice. And in my opinion, Allen takes too many hits for very little upside. When he should slide or those running plays shouldn't have been called to begin with. These have injury potential and chance to shorten his career.

As far as high ankle sprain, I doubt Allen would have been immune if he had his leg rolled up like Mahomes did.

But I certainly can't see him winning a SB on one leg with one great TE, that had also been banged up, and the excuse for WRs that KC trotted out that year.

Little known fact. Allen has beaten all the teams that Mahomes has won Super Bowls against.

And with a garbage OC. And a poor game manager for a coach. And without a good o-line. And without good receivers.

Mahomes is Allen on a better team.
