there are guys at AAA that were good enough to call up, but they didn't to save the year of control. I expect they'll start next year in the bigs. I expect the pen will be better next year regardless; the big question is starting pitching, which has looked much better the last month or so.

I don't think I'd rank us as a team ready to compete, but as bad as our division looks it wouldn't probably take much to make a leap within the division. Four of the five teams are basically rebuilding and the team who looked in the best shape just lost their top pitching prospect for next year.
I think the real question is the bullpen. If they build a decent bullpen at all we should definitely avoid 100 losses but if it's Maurer and Boyer types we won't be very good. |

There were a few relievers doing very well at AAA that they didn't waste a year of service at the MLB level due to it being a lost season. I expect they'll start the season in KC...and you know...it's not an extreme reach to see meaningful August baseball next year. |

Tonight's trivia question is hard. Most recent season with 2 rookies with 10 and more home runs?

Mondesi has played like a legit 15 HR/50 SB player since about the beginning of July.
Whit has a shot to push 15 HR/40 SB this year. That's quite the middle infield. |

I think I already said this but it is nice that O'Hearn at-least looks the part of a masher. We had Butler (Fat) Moose (Fat but big ass for power) and Hosmer (bean pole) nice to

Can we officially retire the fake news Moore "knows how to build a bullpen"?
