Josh Reynolds. Chiefs were in on him multiple offseasons per Eric Eager.
Wouldn't be mad at it tbh |

Also the whole having his season ended prematurely ended due to ankle injuries twice. We kind of need these guys to be durable.

Go take a 5 minute glance at Mooney's highlight reel and tell me he doesn't do stuff as a WR that we couldn't really use.

This is what scares me about these skinny/smaller WR’s. I’d much rather sign Mooney on a 1 year flyer deal than draft Xavier Worthy in the 1st rd

That.... doesn't make sense. At all. "I'm nervous about these small guys getting injured, so let me sign this guy that's already had his season ended prematurely two out of the four years he's been in the league " wut

"Hey Darnell, did you watch our offense last year? Do you remember who your play caller was when you last had 1000 yards? Do you know who the NFL dynasty is? We need some help at WR. There's another 1000 yards waiting for you here and a ring.
1-year, $6 million up to $12 mil with incentives. Prove your worth and go get paid next spring. Deal?" Because no other team is gonna offer him some large 3 or 4-year deal right now. |

Sounds like a guy that probably isn't capable of being a 1k workhorse as some of you folks envision him to be.
"I planned on getting surgery on my left ankle after the season, anyways," Mooney revealed. "Just prior issues from my rookie year to my sophomore season here. Just God sitting me down a little earlier and it just happened to be my left ankle, so I was kind of prepared to have a surgery anyways." |

Yeah I agree with Pugs. The first wave of FA WR’s (Ridley/Hollywood) are gonna get paid well. After that the wave 2 and 3 WR’s are undercut by a really strong WR class.
I think a small incentive laden contract like Pugs pointed out is perfect |
