W.B. Stout Says, Invention Works Uncannily --- Washington Thinks It’s Important ~ Built On A Radio Principle ~ Armature Winding New -- Invention Inspired By Young Son -- Lindbergh Flies Here

Detroit, Mich, Feb. 25 -- W.B. Stout, head of the Stout Air Lines and designer of the all-metal tri-motored Ford Monoplane, declared here today that he had seen what he characterized as an "impressive" demonstration of the Hendershot fuelless motor two weeks ago in Pittsburgh.

Lester J. Hendershot, the inventor, and his associate. D. Barr Peat, who is manager of the Bettis Field at McKeesport, demonstrated the motor secretly yesterday in a hangar at Selfridge Field. This block test was witnessed by Major Thomas G. Lanspier, Clonel Charles A. Lindbergh and others.

It was explained today that the model used in the demonstration was a much smaller machine than an actual working motor capable of developing enough power to lift and propel an airplane. Its designers claim for it that it runs on an electromagnetic principle, bywhich it draws its force directly from the earth’s field, and through the properties within the motor itself transforms these electric currents into power tha can be delivered efficiently at a propeller shaft.
Well, this is something else that I need to look into now, because this sounds like it's impossible and probably is, but damn it my interest is peaked!

The 7th WR on this roster just ain't gonna do much. And I'm not sure WRs work on STs as much as they used to (afterall, that new 'scrum' ain't exactly a WRs cup of tea).

WR7 is not going to be active most days. And Noah Brown won't have much developmental value here. I'd rather have Brown than JuJu but I very clearly lost that vote with the front office.

I'd rather keep an extra OL with some developmental ability and who may be useful in the event of an injury. Driskell is my guy there. Or in the alternative, another DT that can maybe challenge Nnadi for snaps (Farrell seems like he may be the odd man out at the moment).

It's strange to me that they saw Matt Dickerson play football last year and thought to themselves "Yeah - we need more of that next season..."

I don't understand the Dickerson thing. It's almost as weird as Skyy. They lost Coburn and were content to bury Ferrell so that scrub-ass Dickerson could get snaps.

It was so damn strange. And that's to say nothing of their bizarre fascination with Nnadi.

It's like they'd prefer the position be bad than see anyone potentially grow into the role.
