I made sweet sausage with red and orange peppers with onions. Had them on Martin's potato rolls with dijon mustard
![]() Boiled the sausage for about 7-8 minutes then let cool. Sauteed sweet white onions in oil with minced garlic, oregano and basil. Added red and orange peppers and let simmer on low heat for 10-12 minutes. Took the sausage and split down the middle making sure the split was was up to prevent all the goodness from oozing out. Once the pepper and onion mix was done I put it in a bowl and covered. I then put the sausage face down in the pan and fried to a golden crust and then cooked on the back side for another minute. They came out great. So simple but a little greasy on the cooktop. Last edited by scho63; 03-23-2015 at 06:37 PM.. |
