Thanks. I was unexpectedly delighted. Honestly, I decided to take a picture and post and actually did some minor cleaning of the plate and moving stuff around. It was a mess at first. And I didn't go to great lengths. I wanted to eat it hot, but I did some. First time. Haha.

They're going into our rotation because she absolutely loved it, but it won't be a staple I don't think.

I like pork quite a bit, but we rarely eat it. Probably should more since it's so cheap down here.

I like country style ribs in the slow cooker.

Country style are a lot like hunks of pork shoulder. The connective tissue breaks down beautifully in the slow cooker.

I'm not talking doing it like BBQ. Braised in milk or a mushroom sauce...

- I wasn't going to mention because I definitely am not offering up a picture, but I have a cooker full of baked beans with baby back ribs swimming in them simmering away right now.

Grilled the ribs long enough to get some smoke into them, now to let the beans render all the pork fat out.

Looks like heck, tastes like heaven.

My kids are spoiled. They both like pork, but it has to America's Cut. 1.5 to 2", like a steak. I did a pork Lo Mein last week and just got some thin cut pork cutlets to go with it. My daughter sauntered in when I was prepping and said, "I thought we were having pork with the Lo Mein?"

Sigh.
