I use (now) the ACOG and I love it. Absolutely love the damned thing. Keep in mind, however, that when I served - we had iron sights and nothing else. Bought my Son an ACOG for Christmas and of course I had to try it out. Now my AR has one on it. The other rifles still have the Leupolds on them, but they are more distance rifles. Trijicon makes good stuff! |

They're known for their handguns but damn their AR stuff is nice. Still have to shoot it to get a full impression though

Then I started reading about the .300 HAMR. Wilson added more powder to the blackout and put 7.62 rounds out of an AR-15 frame at about 2400fps. Range goes from about 100-ish yards to about 250-ish yards. And the round was just SAAMI approved, although nobody has ammo or powders up here. I've found a way to get some ammo up here so I will post updates once I take it to the range. But it's configured as an AR pistol with an 11.2" barrel and arm brace. I built it on a Sharps Brothers lower that I had cerokoated. My lower: https://sharpsbros.com/the-jack-ar15/ |

Indeed. I didn't mean to get carried away with the ACOG.....I was just highly impressed with it; I was thinking how nice it would have been (the ACOG) in Viet Nam...... The MROs are great as well....Hell, Pretty much anything from Trijicon is high yield... |
