Honestly, I thought they already had as well. Glad to see them joining the other dozen or so states that have come to their senses. States that have constitutional carry 1) Alaska 2) Arizona 3) Arkansas 4) Idaho 5) Kansas 6) Kentucky 7) Maine 8) Mississippi 9) Missouri 10) Montana 11) New Hampshire 12) North Dakota (residents only; concealed carry only) 13) Oklahoma 14) South Dakota 15) Utah 16) Vermont 17) West Virginia 18) Wyoming (residents only) |

On its best day. Its a 500.00 gun You can get way better platforms. For that kind of money. But if its the only thing that gonna scratch the itch ?( been there may times) Gun Broker and then find an FFL. And have it shipped there. |

What would you recommend then for something similar? My buddy has one and I really like the way it shoots.

Mine's an International Ordinance. Not bad for a cheaper model - IIRC I paid $500 for it several years ago. It ain't the most accurate rifle in the world, but it goes bang every time and I've never had a problem with it. Saiga is one of the best brands, but you pay for it. Especially now, I'm sure. |

You'll need to go to all the local gun shops and pawn shops. You can also look at listings on armslist.com. If you do find something, expect to pay 2 or 3 times what they would normally go for. Don't be shocked to see prices in the $1,000 - $1,500 range. Also, check out some of these online vendors: www.palmettostatearmory.com www.aimsurplus.com www.classicfirearms.com www.atlanticfirearms.com www.budsgunshop.com |

For what they are asking for AKs you can get yourself a nice M1 carbine that will holds its value if and when things get back to normal.. 30 carbine ammo I still see on the shelves around here. |

Dad has one that he bought EPIC cheap in the early 2000s. Pretty much the gun he grabs if he's going to shoot something these days.
