***The Official EMAW Repository thread***

I know there are enough of us to participate in this thread, even when our seasons inevitably go to shit.

KSU vs Western Illinois today, tip-off at 3:00 pm.

One thing I noticed near the end of the game on Friday night - we had 5 true freshman on the court, and still played sound basketball. None of them were scrub walk-ons either. While I don't think we will make a serious run at anything this year, the foundation is being laid for a solid program in the future.

Izzo crying about the transfer portal and how it’s being used by the players.

Quote:
“I don’t have a lot of faith in the NCAA. This waiver thing. If you’ve got a hangnail, you get a waiver. I just don’t believe in that because I think somebody, whether it’sa lawyer, whether it’s agents, whether it’s people, they’re going to come up with a different reason.

Mental health is a big reason. I just don’tsee why sitting out is Al such a bad thing because 90% of the kids they are sitting out aren’t pros anyway or they’d go pro.
What a grumpy old “Back in MY day, we had to …” coot.

Wanted to be closer to parents and grandchildren. i guessing more $$ with the new title. Missed out being considered for a HC position, since he never left and proved it elsewhere other than this last few ST coaching stops.

BatCats hung 21 in Lawrentucky today. Their football team has put 21 on Cats 1 time in 11 years.
