Just to let everyone know that might be interested (and I do NOT care for the raise in prices) but www.ammoman.com has got ammo in stock. Be forewarned, however, the prices are great - but not nearly as much as other establishments.
You might give them a shot.....good luck! |

My next door neighbor sold a friend of mine. 136 rounds of 22-250 for 80 bucks. Thought that was a pretty good price all things considered right now.

So after having a stressful few days with house shopping/buying, I took some guns out to my range for some fun.
Remington R1 Enhanced .45ACP put around 650 rounds through it FN 509 Compact MRD and HP P30sk both 9mm put around 600 through each Custom AR .224 Valkyrie 22” barrel 300 through it most at 1000-1200 yards Custom AR 6.5 Grendel 24” barrel 300 through it at the same distance Old trusty Ruger M77 .270 deer rifle that was my dad’s he bought brand new in 78 about 50 through it from 100-750 yards Then had my kids and step kids roll through about 1500 .22 with multiple guns After all that, I check my supply and still better stocked than most third world countries |

Checked my reloading room today! Most of my brass is used, need some new stuff in all calibers. Got me to thinking about my rifle and pistol powder supply. Some of it is pretty old, like me, Need opinions on aged powders, any problems with old powder? Is it still good , Is there any loss of performance with age? ETC?

Looking for info on ruger old army pistol were they all black powder ?or did they make a center fire cartridge? I know they make conversion cylinder for them also read that they quit making them in 08 . Having trouble finding info about them on this ph and ran across one for sale , it shoots a 45 long colt from what I’ve read is same dimensions as the 44 black powder ball? I don’t know shit about them but wouldn’t mind owning one just not interested in cap an ball
