No Pat saw CEH fade behind the defenders and threw it to the open spot and CEH made a great play on the ball.

Yep, he looked good.

Receivers were still pieces of shit, offensive line wasn’t great, Kelce was held in check.. but the offense looked night and day better than it has pretty much all season. And that’s because QB1 played up to his usual standard.

I’ve said it a few times this year, but the quickest path to getting on track is for Mahomes to get his shit together. If he does so, all the other shit will fall in line.

The ball he threw to Watson may be the best I've seen him look on a throw all year. Presumptively an RPO based on how the blockers handled the rush, but then he got back in the pocket, stood tall and delivered a damn rope right as he saw Watson come out of his break (I believe that was a post-corner, right?).

He was confident and threw the ball with genuine conviction there; stepped and fired.

It was awfully nice to see.

The TD he threw to McKinnon is a 1st down he's refused to take a half-dozen times this season.

Seems like he'd been waiting for Kelce to break open on those and had he done that there, he'd have run into some issues. But he didn't - got to the back of his drop, saw the congestion in the middle and immediately turned and fired it to Jet.

He played on time really well Sunday.

It was third and 8. Just a normal drop.

Really odd pass-sets from the OL then.

Look at them all - they're down blocking rather than trying to establish a pocket. That's almost always a tell-tale sign of an RPO.

I think he slid them that way because they had one unaccounted for anyway, and he knew he could slide away to create enough time.

It was nice throw, fairly standard Mahomes stuff in a "typical" year.

The throw to Kelce between 2 defenders right into his hands a few weeks ago was one of his best throws ever.
