It’s hard to even comprehend the things these guys have achieved these past few years.

What a golden time to be a Chiefs fans. Let’s never forget this feeling.

It wasn’t Pat, it was the play calling.

Nowhere else to put this, so...

Veach said they tried to get a WR early in the draft. As in before Rice, so either with our pick or moving up. First time I recall hearing this. I thought supposedly we liked Mazi Smith, not a WR.

Who was the WR?

Yeah the plan was to put the pressure in them. Make them earn every point. The offense all season has handed turnovers to their opponents. Not a bad plan then to get up early with aggressive playcalling and go conservative not making that crucial mistake to let them back in it.

Mark Andrews is absolutely a top 3 TE but I didn’t understand people who thought he was going to come out of that injury after being off so long and just parachute in to have an amazing game.

Ehhhh. Pat definitely looked off some guys that were open. They talked about it during the game. He didn’t want to want to force anything for sure, and I appreciate that, but he absolutely was playing game manager in the second half and went conservative as well. It’s all good

I definitely think Andrews back for them was a net negative. Giving Lamar an additional thing/player to think about in the passing game, especially a fresh from injury player, is not really a great thing for him.
