I'd rather have a guy that gives a shit and puts in effort. Obviously the Chiefs feel the same way as they had no problem suspending him for an important game, and will likely look to move on.

You might be right but I'm not so sure. Newman was always a burner. He had speed to give. Even at 39 he's still fast enough to get the job done.

Revis, on the other hand, was never particularly athletic or speedy. If he loses a step or two he could fall off quickly, especially in a primarily man scheme with shit safeties.

I don't think anybody on the team cares more than marcus peters... he is a live wire, he might care too much, hence the explosions of emotions. He is a passionate player. I think he wants to be here and I think he will be here long term.
