NOBODY has Polk as a 1st round pick. I typically see him in the 3rd round. No, he didn't 'rise up draft boards' like that. That's NFL Draft Twitter's seedy underbelly. At best, that guy wanted to 'discuss the player' but more likely someone fed him intel on something else to get his guy "in the first round conversation" in the final weeks leading up to the draft. When you realize how full of shit most of these guys are, nonsense like Polk in the first round starts to make more sense. |

They'd better love the player because it's going to cost a 1st and 2nd this year plus another 1st. Shit...maybe more.

But he won't be there. I doubt he gets past 7 if he even falls THAT far. In the lunatic event that 4 QBs go in the top 5, you have MHJ, Alt and then Nabers as the next 3 off the board in some order. But if we could get him for something similar to the Mahomes Package, I'd do it. I think Nabers is going to be a superstar. |

I didn't realize the bears only have 4 picks. That does change the landscape a little. If they had 6 or more picks I'd think why the **** would they want 32 lol.

Yeah when I first thought of the scenario I didn't pay it much mind because I thought they had a lot more picks...I saw what they actually have and thought hmmm possibly.

Polk is a high floor low ceiling type player for me personally but I wouldn’t hate it |

Still if your Chicago why not take Odunze. Hard to walk away from a draft with Williams and Odunze feeling light.

BTW in this scenario, I'd call Atlanta and offer them what ever you were going to offer Chicago...

It only makes sense for Chicago because after 9....they don't pick again until 75. In this scenario, they would end up turning 9 into 32 and 64...plus a high pick next year. |

I think Chicago is way more of an option to move up and you lay out why. |

Do you reach a bit for Kingsley Suamataia or Patrick Paul? Maybe pull the trigger on Nate Wiggins? Johnny Newton is there too but I’m not sure about his overall size and short arms fitting here. If I were Veach I’d probably just pull the trigger on Troy Franklin and call it a day |
