LA County says new hospitalizations have peaked for now. That's a good sign.

AZ hospitalizations have peaked and are trending down by about 5%.
I like that. |

I guess the Covid is worse at night- businesses are closing early now. Can't get what you need at the hardware store past 7:30 now - because Covid regulations.
Places are also putting up signs like this banning any customer with: Watering eyes Runny noses Fever-like appearance Cold symptoms Scratchy dry throats that could induce coughing. |

Imagine a virus with this same profile - 4 day incubation, asymptomatic or presymptomatic spread through breath droplets, but an IFR of 8% like SARS-1. Life would be very similar to the movie Contagion right now. |

A lot of businesses are doing this because of reduced foot traffic. There's far less in-person shopping going on right now.

Iirc, if a test has an 85% accuracy and is back in a day or less, you can always isolate and administer a second test that would also have 85% accuracy. So you’re really testing 15% a second time and the overall accuracy of that approach would be highly efficient. From the outside looking in, that seems like an obvious go to. Even if the % is less.
