Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy!

And Hendrickson is a ****ing beast, that defense is far from talentless. He absolutely destroyed Orlando Brown a few years ago much like he did Kingsly in this game.

If we see them again which I doubt we do, it will be a totally different game. Sometimes the other team just dials up a really good game plan.

BTW Mahomes had 70 yards in passing called back due to penalties. We really shot ourselves in the foot as much as Cincy stopped us but a lot of that had to do with the tackles struggling with their rush.
I doubt it would be a different game. These are just how the games between these 2 teams are.

Mahomes was rushing throws that game due to both real and expected pressure from Hendrickson on his rookie LT, but he still showed up when it mattered at the end.

It was the Broncos game in Pats 1st year as a starter where Andy went into that game with an entire gameplan designed to prevent Pat from getting exposed at all.

He does that sometimes. Just goes into the game having decided that he's not going to risk pushing the ball and it's usually because he's worried about one guy on the DL. It used to be Von Miller, then Maxx Crosby and in this game it was obviously Hendrickson.

And Worthy, for as good as he was against Baltimore, wasn't finding much space out there. It wasn't a game where we had a bunch of open looks downfield (probably needed to use the TEs to challenge the seems a little more).

Anarumo was content keeping things underneath and with Hendrickson blasting Kingsley, Reid was willing to oblige him. It was something of a perfect storm.

It was underthrown by several yards. Gotta put that ball in a spot where only your guy can get it, or it goes out of bounds.

What do we make of his numbers?

We have about a full season’s worth of pretty pedestrian stats. How does he pick it back up?

Who cares? Does he win in the 4th quarter? Yes! Does he have 3 rings and a legend? YES!

Like I said earlier, it seems he is using the regular season as experimentation & practice for the Playoffs. He’s way more careful with the ball in the Playoffs. In his last 7 Playoff games, he has 1 INT. That’s equivalent to a 16 game season with 2 INT. I wish he would use the same approach in the regular season, but that’s not the path he chooses.

The Bengals kept using their TE’s in the quick game for intermediate routes and it killed us. They just kept getting into the open zone.

Baffling that we did this one freaking time to Wiley and shocker it was a 7 yard gain.

Playcalling was really bad yesterday. Look at the spacing between Wiley and Rice. Why are they so close together? That leads to defender getting a chance to pick off the pass.

Andy was not good on Sunday

We ran the ball too much. Getting Pacheco beat up in week 2 regardless of him eventually getting hurt. Luckily he'll be back for the playoffs.

We are not a run the ball team. I don't know what Andy was trying to prove but he's a HOF coach and the best in the NFL so he gets the benefit of doubt but it was a head scratcher.

Mahomes having mid numbers and still stacking hardware would be legit hilarious.

He’s in the Eli Manning & Terry Bradshaw phase of his career right now. He has 1 INT in the last 7 Playoff games. Keep doing that and none of the mistakes in the regular season matter at all.

As long as he keeps leading us down the field at the end of the game for the win stats like this don't matter much.
