Everytime Mahomes needed to step up in the postseason, he got the job done.

Oh no doubts. My comment wasn’t meant to diminish the importance or impact of Mahomes. Last year was not good on the offensive side of the ball, yet they still won a SB and it was because of the defense and there’s nothing wrong with acknowledging that.
