So there's a new study out that showed like 80 out of 100 people showed some sort of heart damage after recovering from Covid. Most of these people recovered at home, a smaller percentage required oxygen, and 2 were on ventilators.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/fb-...ted-Trump.html Meet Trump's new favorite doctor, Dr Stella Immanuel, a homophobic preacher who uses 'alien DNA' as a cure, blames witchcraft for illness and says hydroxychloroquine can stop Covid 19...... Sorry about the politician mentioned, just wanted to provide some info about petes source. |

Do we think that's permanent damage or does it go away over time?

Well, we don't know.
Thats why the "longterm effects" thing is just that, we don't know. We know how it is with other viral infections so frankly I don't see this one being substantially different. But again, we don't know for sure and won't for a while. |

I think I met him yesterday...
Guy comes in the shop saying it's all BS. we had our first death in county saturday morning (a grandma who got it from her 5 year old grandson BTW) but this guy says the person who died was his mom and she never was tested for covid. I told him it wasn't his mom they were counting, he countered with "how many people from our county could have died in one day? " I personally know the lady who died. It wasn't his mom they were counting. |

It sounds incredibly scary. You should look at the study if you find the time and see what it says. Maybe it's not as terrifying as the headline makes it seem. I legit felt like I was gonna have a panic attack when I read it.
