They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

Teams are playing the Chiefs like they have great WRs.

Broncos played a shell. Vance Joseph sure did not go with what he did as DC for Cardinals in season opener last year.

People are reverse engineering their analysis from the game stats.

Mahomes and Andy Reid on the podium for pressers are not showing any real worry.

Man if Mahomes can’t make a quick read and go to a second option (or isn’t expected to) right in front of him then that’s a much bigger problem than just locking on Kelce. Luckily I don’t think he forgot how to make quick reads and good quick decisions.

Chiefzilla, Womble makes a good point. Look at the GDT. As a whole the board understands the chiefs have among the least productive WR groups in the league, and they will need to continue to work around it. Your points are taken. You can chill.

It's also true Pat is missing some connections he usually makes and Andy seems to be in his talk more about my innovative play calling mode right now.
The OP isn’t participating in this thread and take a look at the last few weeks of this thread. The “critics” are outnumbered by the supporters.

Again, it's a half roll throw back across the field. He isn't going to look at to Moore at any point.

You mean aside from him looking right at him? But regardless it’s his job to make the reads and find the open guy. The whole point here is that this is just one example of an open receiver from last night.

Rice is quite clearly our best WR and will be an impact player by season's end, if you don't see him as one already. So after that you just have to have guys playing bit roles like Toney, Skyy, MVS and Watson. As long as they can play those roles we'll be fine. Pacheco is getting a lot more passes out of the backfield as well which is massive for us, and he looks good doing it.

I literally said he patches up a lot and that is probably just enough to make us a Super Bowl contender. Get the **** out of here with “he doesn’t address our wr issue at all”

That's pretty much what you said here, dumbass:

Also, you referred to him as a "bandaid", which typically means a temporary solution to a problem that doesn't actually fix it.

Not my fault that you're trying to talk out of both sides of your mouth.

Also, the Chiefs are 5-1 and sitting at the top of the AFC. They're already a ****ing SB contender, so saying Rice "probably" makes them one is just another way of downplaying him as a huge solution/piece.

Curious how this compares to what we might expect by year end and how it was in years past. I know we are doing this WR by committee approach right now, but I would imagine that being a symptom of having a mix of inexperience WRs. Ideally wouldn't you hope to have 2-3 guys all getting 60%+ by year end with the bottom of the depth chart seeing their snap % drop? I mean, surely KC didn't have everyone sitting around 50% when guys like Hill and Watkins were here, right? I know we don't currently have a Hill or Watkins type talent right now, but I would think the goal would be to trend closer to that usage sooner than later.

Another issue is not sure how you continue to give 50% or more of snaps to MVS only to be completely invisible. We unfortunately have nobody else with his speed to stretch the field, but not sure what good that's doing when his production is next to nothing. I'm just not sure who those snaps go to, feels like we're going to be forced to play with basically 10 men on offense all year because of personnel issues at WR.

The WRs aren't very good. The offense is barely functional.

Figure it out, hun.
Nah... Thursday game with vanilla game plan and Denver playing like it is their Super Bowl after that defense, with talented players, got raked across the coals all week.
