All Things Video Games/Game Reviews Part II

Hey all, you know the deal...
The other thread hit over 1,000 posts and we have server issues when that shit happens so here she be, a fancy new mega thread.

Anyway, just a quick rundown.

Post anything and everything gaming in here. Console games, handheld/mobile games or PC.

Playing something you love or maybe hate? Find a hidden gem on Steam? Let us know via a review. Try to make sure you give a good rundown on it. Graphics, sound, storyline, overall gameplay and replayability. Let's keep it at a 1-10 scale.

Thanks to all that left me awesome rep comments/posts and even pm's thanking me for the many reviews I wrote.
Just an FYI, developers do read our comments in here I guess. CD Projekt Red (of Witcher 3) was one that stopped by.

Anyway, thanks all for your input and as always, no griefing.

I used to go around to every pawn shop in the late 90's and buy all of the Toe Jam and Earl's for Genesis for $5 and flip them on ebay for about $50-60. It was my favorite thing to do at the time.

So, my cousin and I used to play Delta Force Xtreme back in the day, and we tried to pick it up tonight for a few rounds...but all the servers are dead.

Any suggestions for a good one on one online shooter, these days? Where you can just log in and frag your buddy? Something basic bitch with sniper rifles and vehicles and shit. We're men of simple tastes.

Anybody following the drama over the new big multiplayer game Concord?

Apparently in development for 8 years. Debuted like 2 weeks ago. But player numbers are so abysmal that they're completely pulling the game on Sept. 6th, and issuing everyone refunds.

I hope developers are learning something...

It's been a dumpster fire all along, not sure why they didn't see it sooner. Literally had no interest and they put all that money into it.

Sony put a lot of money into concord and I enjoy watching the fallout

They just pulled the plug less than 2 weeks after it came out. I bet not one lesson was learned either.

For any WoW fans that have been thinking about the new Xpac: Do it.

Ive been enjoying after basically tapping out early the last 3 xpacs. But the new design aimed at encouraging alt play has been great.

I'm liking the current iteration of the game. It's casual friendly, the new talents are fun and im loving the move to more cosmetic reward systems rather than the game just being about grinding for the latest tier set of w/e.

I picked up Pathfinder: Kingmaker from Steam when it was on sale a few weeks ago for $2.99.

I've never heard of it before so I thought I'd throw it out there and if you were a nerd like me in middle school and played D&D this game rocks. It's not as refined as Baulder's Gate from what I've taken in but it's very granular in game play and customization and guaranteed to last you at least 100 hours of game play.

There's some newer games in the Pathfinder ecosystem that are more refined. This of this one as a poor man's Baulder's Gate.

The sequel to Pathfinder: Kingmaker. I can't believe I never heard of these games until a week or two ago.

I'm enjoying this as a lover of the original. Also plays a bit like the old Lord Of the Rings Rise of The Witch King rts from EA(RIP).

PS5 Pro for $700. No disc drive. Cheap plastic stand sold separately.

Where are the games? We barely got any true PS5 exclusives since launch. But it's fine. Im getting a better PC pretty soon. I'm more interested in older games at this point. Most of what I play on PS5 are remakes and remasters besides FromSoftware stuff.

Definitely agree with that. The Pro doesn't seem worth that at all and the PS5 exclusives are all old at this point. There's not much to get hyped about at this point I'm just waiting for next year with anything new for games.
