The vultures were circling and got their hopes up, it appears. They must know now that another Finals is imminent. LeBron is going to be doing this all of next week to that scrub Ibaka:

By design.he stayed out of the West as well. He is smart or a pussy or both depending on how people want to see it.

I think LBJ is going to be tough to categorize compared to other super stars. No other player has ever jumped ship to and play for essentially 4 different teams while still in his prime to chase titles and supporting cast.

Cleveland
Miami
Cleveland
Houston/Philly

That is totally unprecedented. Shaq is in Miami wasnt near what he used to be and that had nothing to do with title chasing.

Durant did it similarly. I figure it’ll be the new norm with how close these guys are outside of the sport and what not.

There’s not the hated rivalries anymore, which imo sucks but whatever

He has left a team once. LBJ is about to leave a team for a3rd time IN HIS PRIME for stop number 4. That seems to provide a distinct advantage over guys who stayed with 1 team throughout their.primes and had teams built around them does it not? No cherry picking team mates or conferences.that provide the path or least resistance. Only a butt ****ing moron would not see that.

But yeah, it is a shitty trend and Durant may do the same again if he had to. He is a soulless douche also IMO..

To be fair, there was no guarantee LeBron was going to win a title when he went back to Cleveland. He did that for his hometown, and he accomplished it, which is a big deal.

But like I said earlier, it's a two sided deal because Cleveland is so eager to keep him they've probably bent over backward too much for him and let him influence the makeup of the team. Now everyone's complaining that he doesn't have a good team around him, well...

Well, when it’s all about championships, they do what they’ve gotta do to have the best chance.

Not sure why that makes them a soulless douche though.

That’s where I give lebron a nod over Jordan is that the dude has been in his prime for so long. Pretty crazy he’s still doing what he’s doing now

What? They.had Kyrie.and traded for Love. There was a guarantee he was at least playing for a title and that was really his.best option at the time.

Surely you dont think if there was no Kyrie and number pick to trade he still was going back do you? Of course not.

Of course he was playing for a title. He would have been doing that without those things like he did before in Cleveland.

Jordans prime 21-34 when he retired as still the games best player. James prime 20-33 and counting.

He had a better shot in Cleveland.. James and that Miami team got their asses handed to them by the Spurs in record breaking fashion. The ship was sinking.
