****Our Wide Receivers Suck- Official Thread****

They can’t get open, they drop passes in their hands, their jet sweeps are slow and terrible. These guys are not good.

I'm not worried about anything regarding this team other than the short yardage stuff kinda seems like we've been searching since Patrick hurt his knee. **** this cute wild cat shit just line it up in a run formation let Pacheco bang it out for a yard

Lol, for ****'s sake. I didn't mean "subtract," I meant 'look at what the other WRs did separate from Rice's production.'

Stop with the overreaction.

Do you think dumb Pat doesn’t throw to people for a reason because he only sees Travis?

Travis runs his route and then improvises. None of our WR’s can get separation , much less make a break when Pat can’t feed Travis the ball.

Pacheco is saving this terrible receiving core with awesome runs.

I have always said that "divisional games" are such a "different bird" regardless of which team is up or down in talent/record because they know each other so well. Not surprised at this low scoring outcome win whatsoever. Most, but not all divisional games it seems are always close throughout the NFL.
KC should have scored more than 19. They left a lot of points on the field. Offense was not good.

Yup. I don't know why we're treating him like Mecole Hardman. The Jet Sweep is just not there. Treat him like an actual receiver and he gets open.

The only night games the Chiefs have played that have been anything more than a one score game over the past 2 seasons are the Bucs game and tonight. Everything else has been a tremendously burn-the-tape-one-score-game sorta experience.

I will say this, having WR prospects go to Camp Mahomes before the draft is a must every year.

Clearly thst helped Veach find Pat a WR he knows he'll have or at least build chemistry with while also just simply getting to see the talent himself and evaluate.

Oh, "eventually." Yeah, I said that. Iirc, the context was "when Travis starts to decline (that means "falls off"), we would need the WR room to pick up the slack. This year or next year or whenever."

I never said he was falling off tonight. Or this year so far. I did comment in a GDT that he was having a rough day, but I excused him because I figured he was probably still feeling that deep bone bruise.

Travis Kelce is my favorite player not named Patrick Mahomes II. I would never criticize Travis.

Don't you feel like the playcalling was a bit more of the culprit here?
