Two employees at the MO state capital have tested positive, confirmed on the same day the governor calls a special session in less than two weeks for "violence".

Jeff City is about to become a petri dish.

Couldn't tell ya. I know we found it hard to get them for a while, not so much now.

I think it just took a while to fire up supply chains to where they need to be. With protocols they put in place for hospitals, you can churn thru that shit so fast.

We had problems with it. Seems to be getting back to normal now, but who the hell knows.

The theory goes like this: The popular series of illustrated children’s books is officially called The Berenstain Bears (named after their creators), but that can’t be right, because we all remember them being spelled “Berenstein,” which means not that we were all wrong but that their spelling changed at some point in history, a point at which two time streams or parallel realities diverged. In other words, we just jumped tracks somehow and the other reality in which they are still called Berenstein still exists somewhere. You might think of them as Schrodinger’s Bears: simultaneously Berenstain and Berenstein.
The funny thing is I would have bet money it was "Bernstein" and not either of those.

For sure. But again, most medical supply lines where we get those aren't available to the general public.

I've always changed shoes and clothes when i get to the office and when i leave anyway, so the booties weren't a problem as i don't need those.

Masks and gloves were a real bitch for a while though.

Good grief, man.

It was initially announced that N95 masks wouldn't help because the national stock pile had been nearly completely depleted, leaving only those retailers that had masks in stock as an option.

Had the recommendation been made to wear a mask from Day One, healthcare workers wouldn't have been protected because the masks would have disappeared from shelves and online retailers within days of the announcement, just like toilet paper, pasta and many other items.

If only there were an alternative to medical grade PPE that had been used by the general public in a past pandemic.
